The sole-remaining CEFC TRSM Racing Ginetta G60-LT-P1 AER has been withdrawn from next month’s Six Hours of Fuji, with an updated entry list released on Thursday.

It will be the second consecutive race that the Ginetta LMP1 cars have missed after the pair of TRSM entries were unable to enter the Silverstone race in August following an engine change.

The team pledged to return to the series with a single car at Fuji, although likely run by Ginetta after Manor ended its involvement in the program.

Sportscar365 understands that the Ginetta is also unlikely to contest the second Asian leg of the championship in Shanghai in November.

Its withdrawal from Fuji reduces the grid to 34 cars for the fourth round of the WEC ‘Super Season’.

Other changes to the entry list confirm DragonSpeed’s new two-driver lineup of James Allen and Ben Hanley while ByKolles Racing Team has signed Oliver Webb, Tom Dillman and James Rossiter for the race.

Keiko Ihara will make her first appearance in the series since 2014 with Larbre Competition, joining Erwin Creed and Romano Ricci in the Larbre Competition Ligier JS P217 Gibson.

Satoshi Hoshino joins Giorgio Roda and Matteo Cairoli in the No. 88 Dempsey Proton Racing Porsche 911 RSR, meanwhile.

The race will take place on Oct. 14.
