***The official group photo was taken on Saturday afternoon, ahead of the test day on Sunday. There will be two sessions on track tomorrow, each four hours long. These will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. local time, and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

***As per the team’s new livery and sponsorship deal, the Murphy Prototypes car now has Gas Monkey logos applied to it; the Oreca 03R Nissan’s color scheme had been a work in progress for the past few days.

***30 cars (half the field), went through inspection today, and all have been given permission to test tomorrow.

***Alex Brundle has been confirmed as reserve driver for G-Drive Racing. Brundle has been racing this year with United Autosports in the European Le Mans Series LMP3 class, but will not compete in the Road to Le Mans support race.

***Peugeot Sport team principal Bruno Famin was in the paddock today. The Frenchman hasn’t completely ruled out Peugeot’s return to LMP1 racing in the future, but has cited cost concerns for any kind of imminent program from the automaker.

***Larbre Competition announced that Nicky Catsburg and Jean-Philippe Belloc will test the team’s Chevrolet Corvette C7.R tomorrow, alongside Yutaka Yamagashi and Pierre Ragues. This comes after Paolo Ruberti was injured during the week at Hockenheim. His replacement driver for the race itself is yet to be announced.
