MR Racing is set to return for a second season in the FIA World Endurance Championship GTE-Am category (en Français).

Endurance-info reports that the Japanese squad, which joined the WEC grid at the start of the current 2018-19 ‘Super Season’, will continue with its Ferrari 488 GTE through the 2019-20 campaign.

AF Corse will continue to provide technical support, while Motoaki Ishikawa is expected to return to the driver lineup.

Bronze-rated Ishikawa has shared the MR Racing Ferrari in all rounds of the ‘Super Season’ so far with Eddie Cheever III and six-time 24 Hours of Le Mans class winner Olivier Beretta.

The trio scored their joint-best result of the season in the previous round at Sebring International Raceway, where they finished fifth in class in the 1000-mile race.

MR Racing currently sits eighth in the GTE-Am teams’ standings with two rounds to go.
