Ferrari factory driver Nicklas Nielsen and fellow rising star Alessio Rovera will complete AF Corse’s lineup in its dual series LMP2 entry in the FIA World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series next year.
As previously reported by Sportscar365, the Italian squad will re-enter the prototype ranks next year with an Oreca 07 Gibson for Bronze-rated driver Francois Perrodo.
Confirmed on Saturday, the same trio currently competing in the GTE-Am class with a Ferrari 488 GTE Evo will be retained for Perrodo’s move to LMP2 in 2022.
Perrodo, Nielsen and Rovera won this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans in class and currently lead the championship heading into Bahrain double-header season finale.
