The No. 46 Team Project 1 Porsche 911 RSR-19 has been withdrawn from this weekend’s 6 Hours of Bahrain, reducing the field of Saturday’s FIA World Endurance Championship round to 31 cars.

The GTE-Am entry, which has seen a rotating driver lineup this season, has been pulled from the penultimate round of the season due to lack of available funded drivers.

Dennis Olsen was initially listed in the entry alongside two two-be-confirmed drivers.

It last competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Olsen, Robby Foley and Anders Buchardt at the wheel.

With the car on-site and set up on pit lane alongside its sister full-season No. 56 Porsche of Matteo Cairoli, Riccardo Pera and Egidio Perfetti, Sportscar365 understands that an effort will be made to source drivers for next weekend’s season-ending 8 Hours of Bahrain.

The car was withdrawn from the season-opening 6 Hours of Spa due to a testing crash while being a no-show at the 8 Hours of Portimao due to chassis damage before emerging at the third round of the season at Monza with Olsen, Buchardt and Max Root.
