Porsche returned to the top of the time sheets in Bahrain, with the pair of 919 Hybrids leading the way in Free Practice 3 for tomorrow’s FIA World Endurance Championship season finale.

Brendon Hartley was quickest in the 60-minute session, reeling off a best lap of 1:40.917 in the No. 17 Porsche to outpace the sister No. 18 entry by nearly 1.2 seconds.

The pair of Audi R18 e-tron quattros were third and fourth, with the Toyota TS040 Hybrids again bringing up the rear out of the LMP1 hybrids.

Signatech Alpine led the way in LMP2, thanks to a 1:52.019 lap time set by the French squad.

Aston Martin returned to form in both GTE-Pro and GTE-Am, with the Nos. 99 and 96 entries leading the way in the respective classes.

No major incidents were reported in the session, which featured a single Full Course Yellow for debris.

Qualifying gets underway at 5 p.m. local time.
