Proton Competition has finalized the driver lineups for its two-car Ford Mustang GT3 program in the FIA World Endurance Championship, which includes a pair of factory drivers.

Ben Barker and Dennis Olsen will spearhead the Nos. 77 and 88 cars, respectively, with Barker joined by Ryan Hardwick and Zach Robichon and Giorgio Roda and Mikkel O. Pedersen completing the lineup in the second Mustang GT3.

It marks a slight change to lineup from the WEC’s initial entry list, which had Hardwick nominated in the No. 88 entry.

Both Hardwick and Robichon are coming off success with Proton, having won last year’s European Le Mans Series GTE title.

“We’re moving into this new era with strong drivers who have been a part of the Proton family for a long time, and who know our team very well,” said team principal Christian Ried.

“They have a myriad of experience from various racing series and will help us to be successful in this championship with our new partner Ford.”

The German squad is helping give the Multimatic-built GT3 car its competition debut in next weekend’s Rolex 24, with Hardwick and Olsen joined by the team’s full season IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship pilots Giammarco Levorato and Corey Lewis.
