“The Gentleman Driver” Released on Netflix

“The Gentleman Driver” documentary released to Netflix in worldwide distribution…

The feature-length documentary “The Gentleman Driver” has been released on Neftlix, in a major distribution deal for the Velvet Cartel and Speed Group-produced film.

The 90-minute film follows the lives of Ricardo Gonzalez, Mike Guasch, Ed Brown and Paul Dalla Lana through the 2015 and 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship seasons and the work-racing balance they each faced.

Among the areas explored include Gonzalez’s role in building Arkansas State University Campus Querétaro, Brown, in his former role as President and CEO of Patron Spirits Inc., Guasch running Molecule Labs and Dalla Lana, of NorthWest Value Partners Inc.

Featuring renowned motorsports broadcaster John Hindhaugh, the documentary also has expert interviews on the subjects of success, flow and sports psychology, as well as providing a behind-the-scenes look into race weekends.

While having initially been available for digital download in the UK last month, a formal premiere was held in Austin this week by executive producer Toni Calderon.
