Several LMP2 teams and cars are testing this weekend in Estoril, including what appears to be the newly upgraded Gibson 015S.
Lemansportugal.com caught the British prototype in action, with what appears to be Filipe Albuquerque at the wheel of the heavily revised car that’s formerly known as a Zytek Z11SN.
In addition to the Team Jota entry, running in bare carbon, Greaves Motorsport was also on hand with its Gibson-Nissan, with Signatech-Alpine (Alpine A450b-Nissan) and Onroak Automotive (Ligier JS P2 and Morgan LMP2) taking part in the multi-day Dunlop tire test as well.
Reigning Le Mans class winners Jota has yet to finalize its lineup for its return to the European Le Mans Series, although Simon Dolan is expected to again be the team’s Silver-rated driver.
Additional drivers taking part in the test include Roman Rusinov, Vincent Capillaire, Gary Hirsch and Gustavo Yacaman.
