Pierre Kaffer escaped injury following a heavy, race-ending accident in the fifth hour that resulted in lengthy barrier repairs. Kaffer’s No. 82 Risi Competizione Ferrari 488 GTE was hit by the No. 28 TDS Racing Oreca 07 Gibson, causing the crash.
