Dragon Racing topped qualifying for the Michelin 12H Paul Ricard, beating both RedAnt Racing and TFT Racing to take Ferrari’s second pole position of the Michelin 24H Series season.

The No. 98 Ferrari 296 GT3, driven by Xollie Letlaka, Axcil Jefferies, Khaled Al Marzouq and Ramez Azzam, set a combined time of 2:03.292 to outpace the No. 98 RedAnt Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo by 0.497 seconds.

The third-placed No. 28 TFT Mercedes-AMG of Nico Bastian, Benjamin Paque, Patrick Charlaix and Jordan Boisson was third, joined on the second row by the No. 18 Sainteloc Junior Team Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II.

Thanks to Dragon Racing’s efforts, the Prancing Horse captured its second outright pole in a 24H Series event this season after Kessel Racing achieved a similar feat at the 12H Mugello earlier this year.

This weekend marks the first time since 2021 that the 12H Paul Ricard takes place, with the Le Castellet circuit returning to the 24H Series calendar after a four-year absence.

Proton Huber Competition completed the overall top five with its No. 73 Porsche 911 GT3 R headlined by reigning FIA World Endurance Championship LMGT3 champion Klaus Bachler, followed by Scuderia Praha and Continental Racing by Simpson Motorsport.

The overall top ten was completed by Prime Speed Sport, Era Motorsport and JUTA Racing.

In the GT4 category, the No. 421 Venture Mercedes-AMG GT4 took class pole as Christopher Jones, Neville Jones and Matthew George posted a combined time of 2:16.964.

This gave the British squad an advantage of 1.729 seconds over the No. 419 Hamofa Motorsport BMW M4 GT4 EVO driven by Rob, Kris and Mark Verhoeven.

The Michelin 12H Paul Ricard kicks off Saturday at 10 a.m. CEST (4 a.m. EST). In contrast to other 24H Series events, the race will not split into two segments but will instead run uninterrupted until 10 p.m. CEST (4 p.m. CEST).
