David Brabham was transported to a local hospital following an accident in the closing stages of Sunday’s Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour.
The Australian’s No. 8 Flying B Motorsport Bentley Continental GT3 made heavy contact at The Cutting after contact by the No. 97 Craft-Bamboo Racing Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 of Stefan Muecke in the final hour.
Brabham was reported to have been conscious and talking to medical workers but has been taken by ambulance to Orange Hospital for precautionary x-rays.
He was released late Sunday, with all tests coming back negative. However, according to @BrabhamOfficial, he sustained bruising in the high-speed shunt.
