Three Mercedes-AMG customer teams are tied for the Michelin 24H Series points lead heading into this weekend’s third round of the season at Circuit Paul Ricard.
The points tables are headed by both of GetSpeed’s Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evos and the No. 93 entry of Ajith RedAnt Racing. Each team holds 42 points.
Newly minted Nürburgring 24 winner and longtime Mercedes-AMG factory ace Maro Engel will return to the 24H Series paddock in Paul Ricard. The German will drive the No. 28 GetSpeed Team PCX Mercedes-AMG as the team’s pro driver, alongside Patrick Charlaix, Jordan Boisson and Benjamin Paque.
Meanwhile, the GetSpeed Team JR286 lineup remains unchanged with Steve Jans, Tanner Harvey, Patrick Liddy and team founder Adam Osieka at the wheel. The team took an overall third place finish last time out at Spa.
The Ajith RedAnt team will once again be headlined by Tamil actor Ajith Kumar, with Kobe de Breucker, and brothers Ayrton and Yannick Redant sharing driving duties.
Michelin 12H Mugello winners Sainteloc Junior Team sit just two points shy of the championship leaders, despite missing the last round at Spa.
Michael Doppelmayr will join Elia Erhart, Stephane Tribaudini and Pierre Kaffer in the No. 18 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II.
A further five Audis will take to the grid, including newcomers for this season Juta Racing.
The No. 71 entry will feature Arunas Geciauskas, Nicola Michelon and Zois Skrimpias, while the No. 72 Audi will be spearheaded by brothers Marc and Tyler Sharrin, alongside Andres Latorre and Domas Raudonis.
HAAS RT will return with two Audi R8s after a strong showing at the team’s home race in Spa.
The No. 2 crew scored a second place finish overall, while the No. 21 machine lost the win after a crash in wet conditions. Both teams are in the title hunt, sitting at 36 and 34 points, respectively.
A three-way tie also affects the GT3-Am standings, with each car sitting at 32 points.
GT3-Am title contenders HOFOR Racing will compete in Paul Ricard with Alexander Prinz, Michael Kroll, Torsten Kratz and Maximilian Partl.
Viper Niza’s No. 65 Mercedes-AMG will be manned by Douglas Khoo, Dominic Ang and Melvin Moh.
GT3-Am title rivals ARC Bratislava will not be present at the third round of the championship.
Despite winning last time out at Spa, Optimum Motorsport will also not return to the championship in Paul Ricard.
Defending champions Proton Competition currently sit second in the GT3 Pro-Am standings. It will enter its No. 73 Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo, with full season drivers Jörg Dreisow, Constantin Dressler and Manuel Lauck being joined by Porsche-contracted driver Joel Sturm.
In the 992 class, Mühlner Motorsport has dominated the 2026 season thus far, winning the first two rounds. It will compete with Martin Rump, Joshua Bednarski and Conrad Tox Leveau.
Its No. 921 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup sits 12 points ahead of the QMMF by HRT Performance entry.
The No. 974 QMMF car heads the 992-Am standings. Ahmed Al-Emadi, Faesal Al Yafei and Ghanim Al Ali will be at the wheel in Paul Ricard.
Third in the 992 class points table is the Red Camel-Jordans.nl team which will be driven by Fabian Danz, Ivo Breukers, and his sons Luc and Rik Breukers.
Not Only Motorsport and asBest Racing’s No. 102 Seat Leon Cup Racer are tied for the TCE-TCX standings after each taking a win and a second place finish. Both teams return to battle it out at Paul Ricard.
Vortex’s No. 701 machine holds a commanding 44-point lead in the GTX championship after taking back-to-back class wins.
The opening six hours of the race being held on Saturday, followed by the second half of the contest on Sunday, with live coverage available on Creventic Motorsports’ YouTube channel.
