Schumacher CLRT and Laurin Heinrich will make their debut appearances at the FIA GT World Cup in Macau, joining the grid with a single-car Porsche entry.
Heinrich will pilot a Porsche 911 GT3 R piloted by the French squad at the Macau Guia Circuit on Nov. 16-17.
The 23-year-old has an existing relationship with the Come Ledogar-led team through its efforts in Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup.
Heinrich also competes in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with AO Racing, where he will defend his GTD Pro championship lead in this weekend’s Motul Petit Le Mans.
Schumacher CLRT are amongst the first teams to publicly announce their Macau effort, although GruppeM Racing is expected to be present with a Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo driven by Maro Engel.
Sportscar365 understands that the grid for this year’s event will feature further representation from BMW, Lamborghini and Ferrari.
Last year’s edition of the FIA GT World Cup was won by Raffaele Marciello in his last race as a Mercedes-AMG factory driver before joining BMW.
