FFF Racing Team by ACM is set to run a multi-car operation in Asia next season, fielding the brand-new McLaren 650S GT3.
Team coordinator Marco Montebello confirmed to Sportscar365 plans to enter up to three new McLarens in 2015.
The newly formed team has already received the first cars from McLaren GT and ran two cars during a two-day test session at the Dubai Autodrome, just prior to Christmas.
Testing for FFF Racing Team in Dubai were Italian drivers, and brothers-in-law, Vitantonio Liuzzi and Andrea Caldarelli.
The two Super GT drivers were joined by FFF owner Fu Sangyong and 2014 Formula Masters China Series driver Ronald Wu.
Sportscar365’s sources also indicate that two-time Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia champions Max Wiser and Jiang Xin are in the frame for a seat with the team.
Like Caldarelli and Sangyong, the pair raced a brand new NB Team Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in GT Asia Series this season.
Montebello told Sportscar365 that FFF Racing Team by ACM’s driver lineup and 2015 schedule will be announced at a later date, likely to be the end of next month.
The team has several options in Asia, with the new 650S GT3 eligible for GT Asia Series, the GT300 class of Super GT as well as the Asian Le Mans Series.
In Dubai the team was seen testing Yokohama tires, which are used in GT Asia Series and Super GT, as well as Michelin tires, used in the Asian Le Mans Series.
