Porsche and Mercedes-AMG have been slowed in widescale Balance of Performance adjustments ahead of the Nürburgring 24, while BMW has been given a weight break.

2019-spec Porsche 911 GT3 Rs have been given a 20 kg weight increase since qualifying, while the Mercedes-AMG GT3, which scored a 1-2 result in Top-Qualifying has been given an extra 10 kg.

The affected Porsches are the cars with Pro lineups, including the Nos. 1 and 911 Manthey Racing cars, No. 31 Frikadelli Racing and Falken Motorsports entries, while the 2018-spec cars, used by Pro-Am lineups, are unchanged.

BMW, which had a disappointing run in qualifying despite its podium sweep in last month’s Qualifying Race, has been given a 10 kg weight break, meanwhile.

The highest-placed BMW M6 GT3 on the grid is the No. 101 Walkenhorst Motorsport car in 13th. The field’s sole Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo will also run 10 kg lighter.

M6 GT3 teams have had their fuel capacity reduced by 2 liters, however.

The Lexus RC F GT3 has been given an additional 3 liters in fuel capacity, while its restrictors have been increased by 1 mm.

The race gets underway at 3:30 p.m. local time (9:30 a.m. EDT).
