***IMSA has impounded the engines from the Twelve Hours of Sebring-winning No. 2 Tequila Patron ESM Ligier JS P2 Honda and the second-placed No. 31 Action Express Racing Corvette DP for further evaluation at NASCAR’s R&D facility in Concord, N.C. An IMSA spokesperson told Sportscar365 that it’s a standard post-race audit.

***The TF Sport Aston Martin Vantage GT3 topped the timesheets in the two-day International GT Open test at the Circuit de Catalunya-Barcelona. Euan Hankey and Salih Yoluc were the fastest duo, beating Balfe Motorsport’s Shaun Balfe and Phil Keen.

***Zakspeed confirmed Luca Ludwig and Sebastian Asch will defend their ADAC GT Masters title this season. The pair will race a new Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the familiar BKK Mobil livery. Zakspeed will also enter a second car this year, the lineup for that car to be announced shortly.

***Beechdean protégé Jamie Chadwick, the first female and youngest ever champion in British GT history, will join previously announced Paul Hollywood in the Beechdean AMR Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4 this season. The pair will race together at Spa, Snetterton and Donington Park.

***Black Bull Ecurie Ecosse has announced Ciaran Haggerty and Sandy Mitchell will race the team’s new McLaren 570S GT4 in the British GT Championship this season. Both drivers have come through the Ecurie Ecosse Young Driver Initiative, which was launched last year.

***The Mopar African Endurance Series has confirmed that the Mopar Cape 3 Hour will race at Killarney on Saturday 14 May. The November 9-hour date originally pencilled in for Killarney is now likely to move to Kyalami pending final arrangements and completion of the circuit and its facilities.
