SPY SHOTS: 2015 Porsche 911 GT3-R Testing at Nürburgring

Following a video capturing the new-for-2015 GT3 car, photos of Porsche’s 911 GT3-R have leaked after the car was spotted testing recently on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Details of the new-gen Porsche 911 GT3-R has yet to be officially announced, although the German manufacturer hasn’t hidden the fact that a replacement to its 997-based GT3-R has been under development.

Head of Porsche Motorsport Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser told Sportscar365 in September that “it will not take long” to see Porsche’s new 991-based FIA GT3 car.

No word has been given on when the car will make its race debut, although it is expected to come sometime next year.
