FFF Lamborghini Quickest in Pre-Qualifying at Paul Ricard

Orange 1 FFF Racing Team went quickest in Friday afternoon’s Pre-Qualifying session for the Paul Ricard 1000km, the third round of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup season.

FFF, which heads to the French track leading the Endurance Cup standings, went quickest with its No. 563 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo driven by Dennis Lind, Marco Mapelli and Andrea Caldarelli.

Caldarelli’s best lap time was a 1:53.093 which put his car 0.104 seconds clear of the No. 4 Black Falcon Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Luca Stolz, Maro Engel and Yelmer Buurman.

AKKA ASP topped the Pro-Am Cup for the second session running with its No. 87 entry in third overall, while the Silver Cup pace was set by Attempto Racing from fifth.

Garage 59 led the way in the Am Cup with its all-Bronze Aston Martin Vantage GT3 from 34th overall.

ROWE Racing placed fourth, while cars from Oman Racing with TF Sport, Belgian Audi Club Team WRT, Bentley Team M-Sport, FFF and Garage 59 completed the top ten.

It meant that six different manufacturers were represented in the top eight after the 90-minute session.

Qualifying will take place at 10:30 a.m. local time on Saturday (4:30 a.m. EDT).
