Raffaele Marciello will compete in the full Blancpain GT Series with AKKA ASP this season as part of the team’s Pro entry for both the Sprint and Endurance Cups.

The recently-signed Mercedes-AMG factory driver will join Tristan Vautier and Daniel Juncadella in the No. 88 Mercedes-AMG GT3 for the Endurance races while pairing with Michael Meadows for the Sprint Cup.

He was one of the standout stars of last year’s Total 24 Hours of Spa, driving for over 14 hours of the race.

AKKA ASP will enter five cars for the Endurance Cup and three for the Sprint Cup season.

In addition to the No. 88 Mercedes running in the Pro class, the team will also run the previously-announced SMP Racing entry driven by Vitaly Petrov, Denis Bulatov and Meadows.

It will also enter two cars in Pro-Am and one in Silver Cup for the endurance rounds.

Jean-Luc Beaubelique, Mauro Ricci and Nico Jamin will drive the No. 87 Pro-Am entry while Philippe Giauque and Eric Debard will be joined by a Pro teammate in the No. 89 Pro-Am car.

Jack Manchester, Nico Bastian and Jules Szymkowiak will pilot the No. 90 Mercedes running in the Silver Cup, meanwhile.

Three cars are entered for the Sprint races, with Marciello and Meadows’ Pro car leading the entry.

Jamin will drive with an unannounced teammate in the No. 87 car, running in the Pro Cup for the shorter races, while Manchester and Bastian will share the Silver Cup-entered No. 90 car.
