Graham Johnson and Mike Robinson have re-signed with Optimum Motorsport and Ginetta to defend their British GT GT4 championship in 2017.

The Ginetta G55 GT4 will continue to have backing from PMW Expo, but livery designer Nick Moss has created a new color scheme for the car.

“This year Graham and I have had an amazing season and 2016 will be hard to beat,” Robinson said.

“We’re coming back in 2017 with the intention of starting the first race in the same way we have done in the past two seasons. After two years in the Ginetta we know the car inside out and so does the team.”

“We’re in the best place to defend our title,” added Johnson. “The whole team operated on a different level this year and we’re only going to build on that relationship and knowledge in 2017.

Team boss Shaun Goff has confirmed that the team has had several enquiries about fielding a second GT4 car, while a return to GT3 with the Audi R8 LMS is also planned.
