A total of 23 cars across three GT classes are set for this weekend’s pair of GT America powered by AWS races, marking SRO America’s highly anticipated return to the streets of Long Beach.

The entry list features nine GT3 cars competing in the SRO3 class, along an increased grid of five GT2 and nine GT4 cars, respectively.

SKI Autosports’ Johnny O’Connell heads into the weekend as the championship leader, ten points ahead of Jason Daskalos, who scored top honors in the opening round of the season at Sonoma Raceway, with O’Connell inheriting Race 2 victory in Wine Country.

They’ll do battle with the likes of Jason Bell (Flying Lizard Motorsports), George Kurtz (CrowdStrike by Riley), James Sofronas and Kyle Washington (GMG Racing), Justin Rothberg (Turner Motorsport), Ross Chouest (Chouest Povoledo Racing) and Micro Schultis (Mishumotors) in the two 40-minute sprint races.

The GT2 class will have a series-high five entries thanks to the addition of GMG’s CJ Moses, who brings his Audi R8 LMS GT2 out to action along with Dan Knox of Lone Star Racing with his Mercedes-AMG GT2 that debuted in last year’s season-ending rounds at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Moses and Knox join Brent Holden (GMG Mercedes-AMG) and the pair of TPC Racing Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2s for Alan Grossberg and Aaron Farhadi, who swept the weekend in Sonoma.

The boosted GT4 class, meanwhile, will see Samantha Tan make her series debut in one of ST Racing’s BMW M4 GT4s, with Elias Sabo set to pull double duty between GT America action in his Aston Martin Vantage GT4 while making his IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship debut, both with Flying Lizard.

Robb Holland, meanwhile, rejoins the series as part of an increased two-car Rotek Racing Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport effort alongside Isaac Sherman, who came out on top in the pair of season opening races.

Todd Coleman will continue aboard his Archangel Motorsports Aston Martin, along with Gray Newell for Heart of Racing Team, Nick Shanny’s Carrus Callas Raceteam BMW, Todd Parriott in a Flying Lizard Aston and Curt Swearingin in ACI Motorsports’ Porsche.

Track action gets underway with a pair of practice sessions on Friday followed by qualifying in the afternoon, with Race 1 on Saturday at 4:45 p.m. PST (7:45 p.m. EDT) and Race 2 on Sunday at 4:20 p.m. PST (7:20 p.m. EDT).

SRO’s GT World YouTube channel will stream live race action, which will also be available on Twitch.
