Kevin Boehm and Kenton Koch doubled up with victory on Sunday’s Pirelli GT4 America race at Virginia International Raceway following their win in the rain-soaked and weather-impacted running yesterday.

Koch got his No. 97 Random Vandals Racing BMW M4 GT4 EVO into the lead, around pole-sitter Danny Dyszelski in the No. 77 VPX Motorsports Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport on Lap 4.

He then extended his advantage prior to the mid-race pit stop and driver change, which saw Boehm holding a 11-second lead prior to the race’s only full course caution with 17 minutes to go for the No. 39 Van der Steur Aston Martin Vantage GT4 EVO of Max Hewitt that went off track.

Boehm then fended off teammate Sam Craven for the overall win and a 1-2 finish for Random Vandals, with Craven and co-driver Josh Green taking top Pro-Am class honors for the second time in as many days.

Craven got around the No. 52 Auto Technic Racing BMW of Colin Garett on the restart, with Garett ultimately dropping to fifth overall and fourth in Silver at the checkered flag.

The No. 37 Dome Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT4 of Nate Cicero made a late-race pass on Garett to finish third overall and second in Silver.

Alex Ellis then made a last-minute pass on Garett to complete the Silver class podium in third, alongside co-driver and pole-sitter Dyszelski in the No 77 VPX Porsche.

BimmerWorld initially took the win in the Am class with its No. 36 BMW of James Clay and Charlie Postins, although a post-race time penalty handed top honors to Flying Lizard Motorsports.

Its No. 413 BMW of Kris Wilson and Craig Lumsden, which initially finished second in class, was awarded the win, coming in Lumsden’s debut weekend in the sprint race series.

Clay and Postins, who were on a four-race win streak, were relegated to a seventh place class result.
