Andy Lee led the way in the opening Pirelli GT4 America practice session for this weekend’s triple-header at Sebring International Raceway.

Lee, in the No. 8 Flying Lizard Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage GT4, vaulted to a 2:11.023 in the closing stages of Thursday’s session to outpace the No. 999 Hanley Motorsports Toyota GR Supra GT4 of Parker Thompson by 0.121 seconds.

Both cars led their respective classes in Pro and Silver.

The No. 88 STR38 Motorsports BMW M4 GT4 of Chandler Hull, who held point for the majority of the 45-minute session, settled for third, ahead of the fellow Silver class No. 34 Conquest Racing/JMF Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT4 of Jesse Webb.

The No. 82 BimmerWorld BMW completed the top-five overall in the session followed by the No. 7 ACI Motorsports Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport of Kay van Berlo.

RS1’s No. 18 Porsche of Roland and Austin Krainz was the quickest of the Am class competitors in 14th overall.

Practice 2 is set for 12 p.m. EDT on Friday, followed by the NOLA make-up race at 5 p.m.
