Flying Lizard Motorsports will debut a new livery for its No. 21 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport in this weekend’s Pirelli GT4 America Sprint race at Long Beach.

The California-based team’s GT4 class contender was delivered just days prior to the season-opener at Circuit of The Americas last month, resulting in a temporary white color scheme in the first two weekends of the season.

The car, driven by Michael Dinan for the full GT4 Sprint and SprintX seasons, features a dark blue fade on the lower half of the silver body, with the iconic Flying Lizard shield on the front of the car in light blue.

It is one of 21 cars on the entry list for Sunday’s 50-minute race.

“We always love coming to Long Beach,” said program manager Darren Law. “It’s great to be able to drive down the coast from our Sonoma shops and race in front of our California fans.

“It’s Michael’s first time on the circuit, and we’re looking forward to the warm welcome our fans will give him. The Porsche will be strong here, and it’s sure to be a competitive weekend.”

The team has two previous victories in Long Beach, both coming in American Le Mans Series competition in 2009 and 2010.
