TRD development driver Isabella Robusto will join Smooge Racing for Pirelli GT4 America competition this year in one of the team’s Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVOs.

The 18-year-old rising star, who competed in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Late Model Series last year, will co-drive with Joey DaSilva, who will be making his series debut after competing in GT America powered by AWS in 2022.

“Getting the opportunity to compete in GT4 America with Smooge Racing and South 6 is really exciting for me,” said Robusto.

“TRD and Smooge Racing have given me the tools to help my craft both on and off the race track, and I’m looking forward to the challenge of learning the new GR Supra GT4 EVO and new tracks this season.”

DaSilva added: “I am very excited for the challenge ahead in GT4 America with Isabella and South 6. I learned a lot last year in GT America, and Smooge Racing has helped me develop my skills to take this next step in my career.”

The multi championship-winning Smooge outfit is set to field multiple entries in GT4 America, GT America, and the new GR Cup series.

“We had a great season last year as we expanded to a four-car team,” said team principal Kevin Conway.

“We are building on that foundation as we are fielding multiple GR Supra GT4 Evos in both GT4 America and GT America along with four GR86’s in the GR Cup Series.

“We are incredibly excited to have Isabella and Joey competing in GT4 America with South 6.”
