The inaugural Suzuka 10 Hours will be broadcast to more than 75 countries across Europe, North America and Asia, following a deal reached with Discovery Communications for comprehensive global TV coverage of the race.
Eurosport and Discovery will carry live coverage of the Aug. 24-26 event, which serves as the third round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge.
It will mark the world’s first combined FIA GT3, GT300 and JAF GT race.
The race, which has so far seen commitments from eight GT3/GT300 manufacturers, is being jointly organized by SRO Motorsports Group, Super GT organizer GTA and Mobilityland Corporation, which promotes the majority of races at the Formula 1 venue.
Further details on TV times are expected to be released in the coming months.
The IGTC season kicks off with the Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hour next month.
