K-PAX Racing’s Bentley Continental GT3 will be sporting a commemorative livery in next weekend’s California 8 Hours at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, in the final pro race by a factory-supported team for the first-generation car.
The No. 9 Bentley, to be driven by Alvaro Parente, Rodrigo Baptista and Bryan Sellers, will feature a British Racing Green-colored design, reminiscent of Bentley’s 24 Hours of Le Mans-winning Speed 8 from 2003, along with the integration of the Union Jack on the doors.
Bentley’s upcoming 100th anniversary in 2019 will be teased with a graphic on the end plates, while the American flag is adorned on the roof.
The California-based team enters the Intercontinental GT Challenge season finale on the heels of a successful first year with the British manufacturer, having collected ten wins and 18 podium finishes in Pirelli World Challenge competition.
K-PAX, which gave Bentley its 50th win in worldwide competition for the first-gen Continental GT3, will take delivery of two new-specification cars for the 2019 Blancpain GT World Challenge America season.
