The No. 29 Land Motorsport Audi R8 LMS Evo led the way in the third and final paid test session ahead of official on-track activity for the California 8 Hours.
A 1:23.982 lap laid down by Kelvin van der Linde stood as the quickest time of the 90-minute session, and fastest so far of the weekend at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
Honda Team Motul’s No. 30 Acura NSX GT3 Evo ended the session second quickest, thanks to a 1:24.085 lap time in the JAS Motorsport-run entry, while the No. 999 GruppeM Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 made it three different GT3 manufacturers in the top-three.
All three times were all quicker than Maro Engel’s pace-setting lap from Wednesday’s sessions.
GT4 was again led by the No. 41 PF Racing Ford Mustang GT4, with the No. 88 ARC Bratislava Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo getting its first laps of the weekend.
No major incidents were reported in the session, which ran without any red flags.
Free Practice kicks off at 11:35 a.m. PST followed by Pre-Qualifying in the afternoon.
