R-Motorsport has finalized its two driver lineups for the team’s debut GT3 appearance in the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour next month.

The Swiss squad, which is entering a pair of Aston Martin V12 Vantages, will run Matthieu Vaxiviere, Jake Dennis and Marvin Kirchhoefer in its Pro-class car.

It will also enter the Pro-Am category with team owners Florian Kamelger and Andreas Baenzinger sharing turns at the wheel with Peter Leemhuis and Matt Parry.

25-year-old Welshman Parry is set for his first GT3 race appearance outside the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 which he drove last year in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup.

Meanwhile, Dennis and Vaxiviere were co-drivers in the Endurance Cup for R-Motorsport while Kirchhoefer competed in the team’s sister Aston Martin.

“In Jake Dennis, Marvin Kirchhoefer and Matthieu Vaxiviere, we have put together a highly competitive driver combination of proven merit,” said Kamelger.

“We are delighted to be returning ‘Down Under’ for the GT3 season opener with this driver lineup.

“The 12-hour race in Australia is one of the most important GT3 endurance races in the world, and achieving a top result in the classic at Mount Panorama is sure to be a big challenge.”

R-Motorsport last entered the Bathurst 12 Hour in 2017, when it ran an Aston Martin Vantage GT8 in the Invitational category for Kamelger, Baenzinger and Aston factory driver Darren Turner.
