The official test for the Total 24 Hours of Spa concluded on Wednesday with SMP Racing scoring the best time across the final two sessions and GPX Racing leading overall.

The No. 72 SMP Racing Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020 that is shared in GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS competition by Miguel Molina, Davide Rigon and Sergey Sirotkin topped Wednesday’s leaderboard with a time of 2:19.093.

However, the fastest lap of all came from the No. 12 GPX Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R which set the pace during the night segment of Tuesday’s 11 hours of testing.

The second day of the behind-closed-doors test, which attracted 50 GT3 cars, consisted of a two-hour morning session followed by a five-hour run through the afternoon.

There was a fairly even spread of times across the two sessions with four cars in the morning and five in the afternoon dipping under the 2m 20s barrier.

Second to the SMP Ferrari was the afternoon-leading No. 88 AKKA-ASP Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo on a time of 2:19.318.

Just 0.028 seconds behind that car was GPX Racing’s No. 12 Porsche that led on Tuesday, while the Barcelona-based, UAE-flagged outfit also finished fourth with its No. 41 car.

Wednesday’s top five was completed by a 2:19.492 effort from the No. 4 Haupt Racing Team Mercedes-AMG.

The morning session was interrupted by a red flag period following an accident for the Silver Cup-class No. 11 Team Parker Racing Bentley Continental GT3 at Blanchimont.

RESULTS: 24H Spa Test (all sessions)
