Kenton Koch will join Random Vandals Racing as part of the team’s expanded two-car Pirelli GT4 America effort with the new BMW M4 GT4.

It comes as BSport Racing, which Koch was involved with in both a driver and team management role, has ceased operations after three seasons in SRO America competition.

Koch’s co-driver at Random Vandals has yet to be announced.

“I am really excited to jump on board with Random Vandals, immediately taking the position of ‘Tallest Vandal’ for the team!” he said.

“BSPort felt like a family to me, and I was very sad when that came to an end. But I do feel like I’m going from one family to another.

“Everyone is super friendly and energized to win! It should be a good year. Also, I can’t wait to try out the new BMW M4 GT4 platform.”

Team principal Paul Sparta added: “Kenton and I have been competitors for the last two years in Pirelli GT4 America, though in different classes.

“With RVR moving to a two-car effort, the addition of Kenton to the team is hugely beneficial overall. Our intention is to win championships, and the work toward that end has already started.”

Sparta and Al Carter, meanwhile, will return as co-drivers in the team’s second BMW entry that will contest the Am class.

The GT4 America season gets underway at Sonoma Raceway in late March.
