Alegra Motorsports has withdrawn from this weekend’s Blancpain GT World Challenge America evemt at Road America, reducing the field to 14 cars for the penultimate round of the season.

The Florida-based team had entered Pro class Porsche 911 GT3 Rs for Wolf Henzler, Marco Holzer, Daniel Morad and Billy Johnson.

Henzler and Holzer had been sitting sixth in the GT3 Pro title race heading into this weekend’s pair of 90-minute races at the four-mile circuit.

When reached by Sportscar365, team manager Tony Ditto declined comment on the reason for their withdrawal.

Ditto said the team has not made the decision whether it will return to action for next month’s season finale at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Alegra’s withdrawal will leave just four Pro class entries for the weekend, with the pair of K-PAX Racing Bentley Continental GT3s, No. 58 Wright Motorsports Porsche and the championship-leading No. 61 R. Ferri Motorsport Ferrari 488 GT3 of Toni Vilander, who is again joined by Daniel Serra.

Track action gets underway at 10:30 a.m. with Bronze driver practice.
