Compass360 Racing will focus on the TCA category for the 2015 Pirelli World Challenge season, and has announced Emilee Tominovich as its first driver in the No. 72 Children’s Tumor Foundation Honda Civic Si.

Tominovich competed in five TC races in 2014, and finished sixth in the championship with a best finish of fourth at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

“We’ve been keeping our eye on Emilee for a few years now, when she competed in MX-5 Cup,” C360R team principal Karl Thomson said. “I had first-hand experience racing against her a few times last season in PWC, and she impressed me. She’s got a lot of raw talent, and we feel she’ll be a good addition to our driver roster in World Challenge.”

“I’ve done a few races here and there in PWC, but now that I’ve finished school and got my Nursing degree I’m able to concentrate on racing full-time,” Tominovich said. “I’m excited to join a winning team like C360R and to have the opportunity to go for a championship.”

Thomson’s PWC efforts sees the TCA effort take full focus, with up to a four-car effort, after running primarily in TC the last few years. Michael DiMeo took this year’s TC title with a PWC series record-tying eight wins.

Meanwhile the team’s Subaru WRX-STi, which ran selected GTS rounds in 2014, will not return to PWC in 2015.

If that car races in 2015, it will be as a second Subaru in the GS class of the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, where the team has one car confirmed and will also run the new Audi S3 in ST.
