Lind Quickest in Second Sebring Practice

Dennis Lind was quickest in Friday’s second and final practice session for Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS competitors at Sebring International Raceway.

The Dane, making his series debut, reeled off a best lap of 2:01.107 in the No. 9 TR3 Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo early in the 60-minute session.

Lind was 0.397 seconds quicker than the No. 20 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R of Jan Heylen after a late flyer.

Heylen led the way overall on the day thanks to the Belgian’s 2:00.088 lap time from the morning session.

The Pro class championship-leading No. 3 K-PAX Lamborghini of Jordan Pepper and Andrea Caldarelli was third quickest in Practice 2 with a 2:01.741 lap time.

Dakota Dickerson put the No. 93 Racers Edge Motorsports Acura NSX GT3 Evo fourth, with Matt McMurry completing the top-five overall in the No. 77 Compass Racing Acura.

The No. 6 K-PAX and No. 88 Zelus Motorsport Lamborghinis were sixth and seventh, respectively.

Lamborghinis held the four quickest positions overall at one point during the session.

The No. 61 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020 of Conrad Grunewald was fastest of the Am class competitors in eighth overall.

Qualifying is set to get underway Saturday at 8:50 a.m. ET.
