Turner Motorsport will rejoin Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS competition in this weekend’s rounds at Virginia International Raceway.
Robby Foley and Vin Barletta will team up in the No. 096 BMW M4 GT3 in the Pro-Am class for the pair of 90-minute races, marking the team’s return to series competition for the first time since last year.
It will mark Barletta’s GT3 debut, with the Bronze-rated driver also set to take part in the GT America powered by AWS races as well.
The entry list remains at 17 cars, with the Esses Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo not taking part due to its previously confirmed partial season schedule.
The Pro class grid, meanwhile, grows by one, with Kenton Koch teaming up with Daniel Morad in the No. 9 TR3 Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo due to previous commitments from regular driver Ziad Ghandour.
Another change sees Bartone Bros Racing with RealTime step up to the Pro-Am class with Mercedes-AMG Expert Driver Adam Christodoulou teaming up with Anthony Bartone for the remainder of the season.
The No. 38 ST Racing BMW, meanwhile, will see Neil Verhagen alongside Samantha Tan for VIR, with BMW factory driver John Edwards scaling back his full-time driving commitments due to family reasons.
Official track action kicks off on Friday with a pair of practice sessions prior to qualifying and the two 90-minute races on Saturday and Sunday, which will be streamed on SRO’s GT YouTube page.
