Zelus Motorsports will make its debut in SRO America with a two-pronged GT3-based effort in Lamborghini machinery featuring Madison Snow in the driving strength.
The recently formed team will campaign a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo for Jason Harward and Madison Snow in Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS with Howard also competing in GT America powered by AWS with the Italian manufacturer.
Formed in 2019, Zelus is co-owned by Harward and Tigh Issac, with Harward’s racing career having begun in 2016.
“I am excited to see how I compare to these other drivers, some of whom might be seasoned professionals,” Harward said. “I would like to think that I’m a fast learner but I guess we’ll see since the results won’t lie.”
Snow, meanwhile, will dovetail his GTWC America commitments alongside a full season IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship effort with Paul Miller Racing.
“We might be a new team on the scene, but I think we’re going to kick some ass,” said Snow of the newly formed Zelus team.
The addition of the No. 88 Lamborghini brings the GTWC America grid to 15 cars for next month’s Sonoma season-opener.
