Attempto Racing has set its driver lineups for the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS season-opener at Imola and moved one of its cars from Pro to Silver Cup.

The German squad will now run a single Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo in the top category of the series while its other Audi will run in the Silver class, according to Endurance-info.

Frederic Vervisch, Kim Luis Schramm and Mattia Drudi – who drove for the team in Silver Cup last year – are set to compete for overall honors in Pro.

The Silver Cup Audi will be piloted by series rookies Alex Aka, Nicolas Scholl and Tommaso Mosca. This car was the only one not to feature any drivers on the 46-car entry list for the Imola round.

Scholl drove an Attempto-run Audi in the Dubai 24 Hours earlier this year, while Aka has represented the team in the German national DMV GTC series.

Mosca comes from Porsche Carrera Cup Italia and is set to make his first appearance in GT3 machinery this weekend.

Another Audi lineup to be confirmed this week is that of the No. 31 Team WRT car entered into the Pro class.

Audi factory drivers Mirko Bortolotti and Kelvin van der Linde will be joined by Matthieu Vaxiviere, who replaces Rolf Ineichen.
