The brand new Bentley Continental GT3 immediately got off to a good start at the official Blancpain GT Series test days held at Paul Ricard, as the car run by M-Sport topped the time sheets in the opening session this morning.

The sole Continental GT3 present posted a time of 1:56.584 in the four-hour session, outpacing a trio of Audi R8 LMS ultras, led by the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT car No. 1 (+0.962s) in front of both Phoenix entries.

The Audis were definitely on the pace as Team Parker Racing and WRT’s car No. 3 also ended up in the top ten, respectively sixth (+1.275s) and tenth (+1.891s).

Fastest BMW Z4 GT3 was the No. 12 of TDS Racing, setting a 1.57.708 (+1.124s) around the southern France track.

Blancpain Racing completed the top ten with their Lamborghini Gallardo FL2 in seventh (+1.605s), followed by two Ferrari 458 Italias of Michelotto (+1.644s) and AF Corse (+1.818s).

The fastest Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 was down in 28th (+3.651s), the fastest Aston Martin in 29th (+3.769s).
