Steven Kane posted the fastest time in the No. 7 M-Sport Bentley Continental GT3 on the opening day of the Blancpain Endurance Series iRacing.com GT500 season finale.

The factory Bentley posted a 1:55.701 in Free Practice, a time that remained unbeaten as rain arrived at the ealry stages of the Pre-Qualifying session.

Kane went 0.149s quicker then the Dominik Schwager in the No. 66 Rinaldi Racing Ferrari, followed by the ISR and Phoenix Racing Audi R8 LMS ultras in third and fourth, respectively.

Hubert Haupt ended the rain-hit Pre-Qualifying session on top in the No. 21 Black Falcon Mercedes SLS AMG GT3, posting a significantly slower 2:03.960 on a drying track.

Contact between the No. 51 AF Corse Ferrari of Pro Am Cup champion Matt Griffin and the Team Russia by Barwell BMW of Leo Matchitski brought the day to an early end.

After overtaking the BMW on the straight, Griffin got hit in the back in the braking zone for Turn 1, resulting in a heavy impact with the armco barriers that needed substantial repairs.

The times posted in Pre-Qualifying might be of great importance, as they will be used in case Qualifying should get cancelled tomorrow morning due to fog.
