***Grasser Racing Team is working on expanding its Blancpain program next year. The Austrian team, currently second in the Sprint Series drivers’ standings, plans to add the Blancpain Endurance Series to its schedule in 2015 and hopes to confirm its plans next month.

***GRT has decided to withdraw the No. 27 Lamborghini of Stefan Landman and Tomas Pivoda from today’s Main Race. The car sustained chassis damage after being launched on the curbs in the first chicane. Meanwhile, the No. 6 Phoenix Racing Audi received a drive-through penalty for an unsafe release in the Qualifying Race, which was converted in a 30” time penalty.

***WRT driver Enzo Ide is going to test a RallycrossRX car in the coming days. Ide will stay within the Audi family as he’ll pilot an Audi S1 from EKS (Mattias Ekström’s team). The Belgian driver is expected to remain within the GT3 scene next year.

***This morning’s warmup was topped by the No. 1 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT Audi of Qualifying Race winners Laurens Vanthoor and Cesar Ramos, narrowly edging out the sister No. 9 Audi of Stéphane Ortelli. BMW and Audi dominated the top eight with four cars each. The NSC Motorsports Lambo that finished second yesterday remained in its box.

***Laurens Vanthoor’s Qualifying Race victory means he now trails Maxi Buhk by only 14 points in the overall Blancpain GT Series standings; there are still 59 points up for grabs this season. In the Sprint Series, meanwhile, Jeroen Bleekemolen and Hari Proczyk have reduced the gap to Maxi Götz to 20 points.

***The Blancpain Sprint Series calendar will be announced in the build up to the Baku World Challenge. The number of sprint weekends will remain at seven.

***Teams will have the opportunity to return to their workshops after the Zolder weekend, as cars and other cargo will only be flown to Azerbaijan later next week.
