Thirty-seven cars are entered for next weekend’s Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup round at Brands Hatch, reaching the maximum capacity of entries that the pit lane can accommodate for the second round of the season.
ENTRY LIST: Brands Hatch
There have been a number of changes to the grid since the season-opener at Misano earlier this month.
Among them includes the Am Cup entered No. 55 AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 and X-Bionic Racing Team Lamborghini Huracán GT3, which are no longer part of the field.
Meanwhile, the No. 66 Black Pearl by Rinaldi Racing Ferrari 458 Italia has moved up to the Pro Am Cup with the arrival of Monza race leader Daniel Keilwitz alongside Steve Parrow, leaving the Am Cup without any entries at Brands Hatch.
As previously announced, Belgian Audi Club Team WRT is down to five Audi R8 LMS cars for Brands Hatch, as Will Stevens and René Rast are both competing in the FIA WEC 6 Hours of Spa on Saturday.
After missing the opening round at Misano due to an injury, Christophe Bourret is fit again and will team with Jean-Philippe Belloc in a third AKKA ASP Mercedes-AMG GT3 (Pro Am).
The lineup of the Boutsen Ginion BMW M6 GT3 is still unconfirmed, while it’s also still unclear who will be Stef Dusseldorp’s co-driver in the No. 98 ROWE Racing BMW M6 GT3, with Nick Catsburg competing for Lada in the WTCC on the same weekend.
Brands Hatch should also see the Sprint debut of Rinaldi Racing’s brand new Ferrari 488 GT3 in the hands of Marco Seefried and Norbert Siedler.
Maxi Buhk and Dominik Baumann head to Great Britain as overall Blancpain GT Series with a two-point lead, following a pair of second place finishes at Misano and Monza with their No. 84 HTP Motorsport Mercedes.
Garage 59 McLaren driver and Monza winner Rob Bell follows in second, with Sprint Cup leaders Laurens Vanthoor and Frédéric Vervisch in third.
