Ferrari dominated Pre Qualifying for Sunday’s Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup opener at Monza, as the Italian manufacturer took the top four spots in the 90-minute session.

Matt Griffin’s No. 52 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3 posted a 1:48.196 lap time, which was still two-tenths slower than the quickest time posted by the Scuderia Praha Ferrari 488 GT3 in this morning’s Free Practice session.

The sister No. 53 AF Corse car of Giancarlo Fisichella, Lorenzo Bontempelli and Motoaki Ishikawa ended up in second (+0.036s), while the No. 66 Black Pearl by Rinaldi Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 and Scuderia Praha Ferrari made it four Prancing Horses at the top of the timing screens.

As was the case this morning, the No. 16 Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini Huracán GT3 was the best of the rest in fifth (+0.247s), followed by the No. 56 Black Falcon Mercedes-AMG in sixth (+0.257s).

The No. 99 ROWE BMW M6 GT3 and No. 58 Garage 59 McLaren 650S GT3 added diversity to the top-ten, which featured six Ferraris and with six of the top-10 quickest times being Pro Am competitors.

No fewer than 24 cars — more than half the field — were within 1 second of Griffin’s time.

There were no red flags, nor any notable incidents during the session.

Qualifying gets underway at 9 a.m. local time tomorrow morning.
