The No. 911 Manthey Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R will face a ten-position grid penalty in this weekend’s Total 24 Hours of Spa, following multiple infractions for Romain Dumas.

Dumas, who entered the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup event with two previous Behavior Warning Points for penalties, received two further points in Thursday’s Free Practice session when he was found to have exceeded the pit lane speed limit on two occasions.

Co-driver Fred Makowiecki was also caught speeding twice in the session, leading to fines totaling €430 for the German squad.

The car, shared by Dumas, Makowiecki and Dirk Werner, combined to set the 13th quickest time in qualifying, heading into Friday’s Super Pole, which will set the final grid.

Manthey’s Porsche is not the only car to have received a grid penalty, with the No. 26 Sainteloc Racing Audi R8 LMS receiving a five-position demotion for Christian Kelders’ three warning points entering the weekend.
