Raffaele Marciello topped the time charts in Pre-Qualifying for the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.

Marciello, who is coming off victory in last weekend’s Nürburgring 24, reeled off a best lap of 2:17.589 in the No. 98 ROWE Racing BMW M4 GT3 EVO to edge out the No. 51 AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 of Alessio Rovera by 0.021 seconds.

Marvin Kirchhofer made a late session improvement to third in the No. 59 Garage 59 McLaren 720S GT3 Evo, followed by the No. 50 AF Corse Ferrari of Antonio Fuoco in fourth.

The No. 27 QMMF by Sainteloc Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II of Julian Hanses completed the overall top-five and was quickest in the Bronze Cup.

Two additional Bronze entries — the No. 74 Kessel Racing Ferrari and No. 66 Tresor Attempto Racing Audi — were sixth and seventh, respectively, followed by the No. 911 Pure Rxcing Porsche 911 GT3 R in eighth.

The No. 17 GetSpeed Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo and No. 188 Garage 59 McLaren completed the overall top-ten.

The 60-minute session was red-flagged just prior to halfway when the No. 81 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG of Gabriele Piana crashed at Raidillon.

Piana climbed from the Bronze Cup class car under his own power although the car sustained significant damage.

Qualifying is next up and is scheduled to begin at 9:15 p.m. CEST (3:15 p.m. EST) with live coverage on SRO’s GT World YouTube channel.
