Ferrari Hypercar driver Alessandro Pier Guidi will return to a full season role in Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup, leading AF Corse’s revamped two-car lineup in the Pro category.

The reigning 24 Hours of Le Mans winner will share the No. 51 Ferrari 296 GT3 with Davide Rigon and Alessio Rovera, while the sister machine is set to be piloted by Thomas Neubauer, David Vidales and Vincent Abril.

Pier Guidi hasn’t contested a full Endurance Cup season since 2021, when he guided Iron Lynx to the championship with overall victory in that year’s CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.

He made two one-off appearances since then: one in the Barcelona season finale in 2022, where he finished second, and another in last year’s Monza season opener.

AF Corse has largely revamped its Endurance Cup driver crew compared to last year, with only Rovera and Rigon staying on.

FIA World Endurance Championship teammates Nicklas Nielsen and Antonio Fuoco both not return, while Robert Shwartzman has moved to the No. 83 Ferrari 499P crew in the world championship.

With Serra also not returning to the No. 71 car, Ferrari has opted for an entirely new crew of drivers in the second car led by new factory driver Neubauer. Vidales and Abril, meanwhile, were named AF Corse-contracted drivers last month.

The crew for its third car, entered in Bronze Cup, will consist of Andrea Bertolini and the father-and-son duo of Louis and Jef Machiels.
