The No. 99 ROWE Racing BMW M6 GT3 of Maxime Martin is leading the Total 24 Hours of Spa at the four-hour mark, although no clear leader has emerged yet as a 70-minute long safety car intervention for barrier repairs shook up the pit strategies.

The No. 28 Audi Sport Team WRT Audi R8 LMS was one of the first cars to pit while the track was still under FCY, gaining time and track position over the cars that came in during the safety car later on and had to wait at pit exit.

Both Nick Catsburg in the No. 98 ROWE Racing BMW and Come Ledogar in the No. 58 Garage 59 McLaren 650S GT3 were battling for the lead right before the four-hour mark, with the Ledogar taking the lead on pace.

Amongst the cars leading the race for a couple of laps as the pitstops cycled through where most notably the brand-new No. 114 Emil Frey Racing Jaguar G3 of Jonathan Hirschi and the Oman Racing Team Aston Martin V12 Vantage of Jonathan Adam.

Maxime Soulet’s No. 8 M-Sport Bentley Continental GT3 also enjoyed its time at the front of the field, but the car incurred a drive-through for a pitstop infringement.

A five-minute rain shower hit the track after three hours, although no cars opted to switch to rain tires.

The Mercedes-AMG cars that were hit with a five-minute stop-and-hold and only lost a lap by executing the penalty during a FCY, are starting to edge their way back to the front of the field, slowly entering the top-30.
