ROWE Racing has revealed its two-car driver lineup for next weekend’s Total 24 Hours of Spa, including two former winners of the Belgian endurance classic.

Alexander Sims and Nicky Catsburg will share the team’s No. 99 BMW M6 GT3 with Jens Klingmann, while Jesse Krohn, Marco Wittmann and Ricky Collard will drive the No. 98 car.

Sims won the event with in a ROWE BMW M6 GT3 in 2016 while Catsburg was part of BMW Sports Trophy Team Marc VDS’s winning lineup in 2015 with the BMW Z4 GT3.

Krohn, Collard and Wittmann will all be making their debut appearances in the race, which serves as the highlight of both the Blancpain GT Series and Intercontinental GT Challenge seasons.

The team has made several lineup changes between races this season and several drivers who it has employed for previous races, including John Edwards, Connor De Phillippi and Tom Blomqvist, are not listed.

“The 24 Hours of Spa is our second highlight of the year.” commented Team Principal Hans-Peter Naundorf.

“After the set-backs at the Nürburgring, we are looking forward to really going for it and banishing the memories of that disappointment.

“Our whole team is really motivated and the preparations for Spa have been very focused. The findings from the two test days have been positive and once again confirmed that this circuit suits our BMW M6 GT3.

“We hope that this time, after all our hard work, we get that little bit of luck you need to be challenging at the head of this high-class field after 24 hours of racing.

“We are really looking forward to the biggest GT3 race in the world and the very special atmosphere at this wonderful racetrack.”

ROWE’s pair of BMWs will be joined by two cars entered by Walkenhorst Motorsport, including a one-off Pro Cup entry for Blomqvist, Philipp Eng and Christian Krognes.
