ROWE Racing has confirmed its driver lineups for a two-car program with the BMW M4 GT3 in both Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup and the Nürburgring 24.

The German team, run by Motorsport Competence Group, has retained four of the six drivers that it ran in the five-round Endurance Cup last season.

New additions Philipp Eng and Marco Wittmann join Nick Yelloly in the No. 98 BMW, replacing Nicky Catsburg and the Team WRT-bound Augusto Farfus.

ROWE has retained Dan Harper, Max Hesse and Neil Verhagen in the renumbered No. 998 BMW for Endurance Cup. The trio made their GTWC Europe debuts last year as part of the BMW Junior Team program, and have since been promoted to factory contracts.

WRT’s switch from Audi to BMW has resulted in a doubled Pro-class effort in Endurnace Cup for the Munich manufacturer, which is set to be represented by four cars in the top category. The championship includes the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa in early July.

“ROWE Racing and BMW M Motorsport have been a winning combination for seven years now,” said ROWE team principal Hans-Peter Naundorf.

“An important piece of the puzzle in this success is continuity, which is why it is great for both parties that we are able to continue this partnership.

“Many thanks to Andreas Roos and customer racing boss Bjorn Lellmann for the trust placed in us.”

Vanthoor Joins ROWE for Nürburgring Effort

Defending Nürburgring 24 winner Dries Vanthoor will join ROWE for its two-car operation at the Nordschleife enduro in May.

The former Audi Sport factory driver, who won the event last year with Phoenix Racing, will share the No. 98 BMW with Martin, Wittmann and Sheldon van der Linde.

ROWE’s sister No. 99 BMW features the unchanged lineup of Eng, Farfus, Yelloly and Connor De Phillippi.

New BMW factory signings Vanthoor and Martin are new to the No. 98 crew, replacing Nicky Catsburg and John Edwards.

Catsburg is confirmed to drive the Frikadelli Racing Team Ferrari 296 GT3, while Edwards will be competing in GTWC America with ST Racing during the N24 weekend.

As part of its N24 preparations, ROWE Racing will enter the first three rounds of the NLS.
