The SRO Motorsports Group has announced it will adopt the Sean Edwards Test (SET), one of the three key initiatives introduced by the Sean Edwards Foundation on the first anniversary of his death.

In a joint partnership between both parties, a virtual safety test will be developed to further increase the awareness of amateur and rookie drivers and to help them to achieve the level of racing required.

Starting next season, prior to the first race and before the Total 24 Hours of Spa drivers will have take a computer based safety test.

Drivers who fail the test will get the opportunity to take part in special coaching sessions, additionally SRO will organize extra drivers briefings to further increase safety.

Before on track action got underway at Circuit Zolder, the drivers participating in the Blancpain Sprint Series joined the #jump4SEF initiative, showing their support for the initiative.
